Bondo Ochieng has over 6 years of working experience in Kenya's Informal Settlements. Having risen from the ranks of managing Community Based Organizations in different positions, he rose to the rank of a Coordinator for the Kamukunji Constituency Paralegal Network, a Human right based organization. He has worked in Majengo, Bahati, Makongeni, Kiambiu Matopeni, Kanuku, Kinyago amongst other city slums most of them based in Kamukunji constituency in the City of Nairobi as a Para-legal Officer.

He has trained community members on Human rights, Water and Sanitation, Participatory Project Planning, Community Based Organizations constitution making, Participatory Urban and Rural Appraisals, Family and Child based Counseling. Patrick has a wealth of experience in Grass root Community Organization which includes: Empowering, Building awareness, Promoting new values & behaviors, establishing self reliance, building relationships, developing organizations & leadership, ownership & sustainability , enabling communities to take appropriate & acceptable actions. This amounts to facilitating strategies that lead to construction of Social livelihoods in the Slums.

Patrick also sits on the National Environmental Management Authority's Nairobi North District Environment Committee and the Poverty Eradication Commission- Nairobi West District as a representative of Maji Na Ufanisi. At MnU, Patrick is involved in the development of Organizational Training Manuals and Tool kits for community development. He is also involved in strengthening of f several CBOs that are implementing Water and Environmental Sanitation services in the urban informal settlements of Nairobi .

He is a team player as well as a leader, who demonstrates high integrity and professionalism in his work.
