CONCEPTOR K MOMANYIProfile

Conceptor MOMANYI has over 6 years of working experience in Nairobi’s informal settlements. She has worked for Ushirika wa Usafi Community Based Organization in Kibera Laini Saba specifically in capacity building. This included training on health and hygiene, business start up and business growth, leadership, reflection and evaluation training.

Conceptor has also worked with Child Legal Action Network (CLAN) as a paralegal on child rights at Nairobi’s Kibera, Kianda, Mukuru Kwa Njenga and Embakasi areas. For a number of years Conceptor has been a leader in two microfinance groups formed by Ambassadors’ Development Agency and Nuru Women Group. She has represented the group in various exchange visits in both rural and urban areas. In addition she is a member of various community development groups. Conceptor joined Maji na Ufanisi as a local community organizer in 2006, before rising to the position of community organizer in 2007. Over the past 7 months she has been involved in the Kibera Integrated Water, Sanitation & Waste management project (K-WATSAN) in Soweto East. She is a committed selfless CO.

She is a committed person dedicated to the service of the disadvantaged.
