Maji na Ufanisi’s strength lies in our ability to work with disadvantaged communities as equal partners to help them improve their quality of life by creating innovative water and environmental sanitation solutions. To do this we bring together these communities, government and donor agencies, peer NGOs and the private sector.

Rationale for partnerships:

As a non-governmental organization working towards improving the quality of life of the disadvantaged through participatory innovative pro-poor water and environment sanitation solution, Maji na Ufanisi found it important to form strong partnerships with those pursuing similar goals and share the same vision, these include; NGOs, government agencies, corporations, foundations or individuals. Building strong partnerships ensures the cross-sectoral support and knowledge-sharing necessary for strong, high-quality projects and programs. At the same time, it allows Maji na Ufanisi to avoid duplicating existing efforts and affords the Organization the ability to lend its support to groups or projects which it values as it complements its work with other entities.

Ensuring strong working relationships with partner organizations has been demonstrated in its partnership with the local, lateral, bi-lateral and multi-lateral partners to advance the work of Maji Na Ufanisi
